The School Day

The school day consists of four 60-minute lessons and one 50 minute lesson together with a 40-minute registration/line up and tutor period each day.

This means students are in school for 6 hours and 20 minutes daily, totalling 31 hours and 40 minutes each week (excluding after-school activities).

Morning registration time

The day starts at 8:30am and begins with our school community coming together for our line-ups. This offers us an opportunity to celebrate successes, share messages and support with any uniform and equipment issues. Students are registered during this time. Following this, tutor groups are taken to the tutor room for Personal Development opportunities or assemblies.

Lessons commence at 9:10.

Official end of the day

Students finish school at 2:50pm, after lesson 5. This excludes any after school activities.
