Parents, Teachers and Friends Association

Pewsey Vale School is proud to have an active and supportive Parent, Teacher and Friends Association (PTFA).

This dedicated group helps strengthen the connection between home and school, supporting our students through social events, fundraising, and volunteering.

PTFA Committee

The current PTFA committee includes:

  • Chair – Hannah Eaves
  • Vice Chair – Chris Hood
  • Treasurer – Katie Read
  • Secretary – Vacant

They are supported by other parent volunteers who generously give their time and ideas.

What Does the PTFA Do?

The PTFA works in partnership with the school to:

  • Organise social and community events
  • Support school functions and initiatives
  • Fundraise to provide extra opportunities and resources for students

 Events have included:

  • Quiz nights
  • Cookery evenings
  • Refreshments at school events
  • Bags2School collections
  • Foreign currency and community fundraising

Thanks to these efforts, the PTFA has helped fund:

  • Outdoor shelter and furniture
  • Table tennis equipment
  • Year 11 Prom support
  • MyMaths subscriptions
  • Cooking resources

Get Involved

Every parent and carer is automatically a member of the PTFA. All are welcome to attend meetings—there’s no obligation to join the committee or help with events unless you’d like to.

Getting involved is a great way to:

  • Feel more connected to school life
  • Meet other parents and staff
  • Share ideas and give back to the school community

Easy Ways to Help

Easy fundraising

Over 4,300 shops and websites will donate to Pewsey Vale School PTFA when you shop via easyfundraising.org.uk. Just register, choose Pewsey Vale School as your cause, and activate the donation reminder when shopping online.

Matched Funding

Many employers match charitable donations. If your workplace offers this scheme, your contribution could go even further. Please contact us if you think your employer might support this.
