Pewsey Vale students were delighted to represent our school at an event with Home Instead as part of Dementia Awareness Week.

Skye F, James M, Adam J, Harvey Y, Esther D, Katie D along with Mr Robinson and Mrs Sealy all attended a tea party, serving tea, coffee and cakes to the Caregivers and clients and most importantly chatting to them all about lots of different topics.

We are very pleased with the feedback from the organisers of the event Home Instead:

“I would like to say a huge thank you from all of us at the tea party yesterday to your students. They were really helpful, our clients and their families loved meeting them all and chatting on so many subjects. Numerous clients and their families commented on how nice it was having the students there and what lovely young people they were. Our Caregivers and office team were equally impressed by their cheerful and helpful attitudes. I hope they are all very proud of themselves. Please pass on our thanks to all the students”.

It was really wonderful to be part of such a great community event and we look forward to many more.
