The aim of this programme is to assist with implementing the Key Stage 4 Programme of Study for Citizenship. The course will be covered through whole or part day events during Years 10 and 11 and in addition, through learning that takes place in English, Maths, and Science, RE, Work Experience, PSHE and Career Guidance programmes. The programme provides opportunity to include activities outside school, if appropriate. Where feasible ASDAN endorsed certificates are available to students on completion of Years 10 and 11, following internal verification processes. Those students following ASDAN Awards will be able to claim credits towards these.
